Biography
In the middle of 2006 with only 14 and a half years old, he began to participate in karts in Torrejon de Ardoz.
By getting a pole position , he was the winner after two legs during the second race he took part.
His third race and first participation at national level for Spanish championship placed him in 8th and 7th position. During his fourth race, at OJP, he came second and third.
Soon after he came second two times for both races on the occasion of the Spanish National Cup in 2006.
In 2007 he ran in KF3 (ex-junior) after passing an admission test in Parma (Italy) , he started to drive for FA karts ( Fernando Alonso Karts) under the guidance of Genis Marcó , who was mentor to Fernando Alonso and so many present professional drivers and future ones for both Formulas. He competed at full international level by taking part in the Open Masters and WSK in Europe.
In the middle of 2007 he moved into KF2 (ex inter) to participate in the Spanish Championship , fighting for the last races with top international and professional drivers from this category in karting races.
At the end of the same year, Genis Marcó told him to “ go for cars right now”. Consequently, he took part in several tests with Iquick (F Renault 2000), Racing Engineering Motaworld, Dams (BMW Europe) and Emilio de Villota (Master Jr).
He decided to look to the next 2008 season with optimism for BMW Europe by choosing the Euro international Italian team (double champions in this category for the FBMW USA). His first target now aims at learning and competing the rookie championship of this category with a clear intention of participating in the senior Championship in 2009.
With only four remaining races to go, he is ranked third in this Championship.
